Nov-Dec-Jan-Feb Book Club Assignments

We had a small but cozy group today at book club. Lots of you were out of town for various reasons. We all agreed we love meeting in homes so much more. It was a great discussion. We talked about how emotional the book was and how we wanted to just shake the 2 main characters of the book at times. This is one book, that if you didn't get a chance to read it, you need to put it on your list of "Must Reads". This might just be Francine Rivers best book.

Next month, November 20th, we will be discussing the 1st book of the series "Chronicles of the Kings" by Lynn Austin. Book 1 is entitled "Gods and Kings." We will most likely be meeting at my house, but if my house is still under construction, we will meet at Alison's home. We will keep you advised. You can always check the website for details.

For December we will do some sort of reading or get together for lunch or both. As is usual for December, we will not have a reading assignment. Date and Time TBA.


On January 15th, 2011, we will be discussing the book "A Chance to Die" by Elisabeth Elliot which is a biography about Amy Carmichael.


February's book will be "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. We will meet on February 19th, 2011.
