For March's book, we decided to read Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. I will be ordering an Audio CD version of the book and if I can find my paperback copy, I will loan that out, too.We will meet on Saturday, March 21st at 1:00pm in the GCC Library. Please bring a snack to share.
***Would one person like to volunteer to bring a Crock Pot of something?
***Also, would another like to bring tea/coffee?
We have a Electric Water Kettle, Coffee Maker and a Microwave in the library for your use.
In April we will be reading a Book of the Bible written by the Apostle Paul. It was recommended that we read one of his epistles. Any suggests? Please comment below or e-mail me.
Then for May we will read Great Lion of God by Taylor Caldwell. This is the story of the life of St Paul, "the man who spread Christianity throughout the Roman world". Start looking for this book NOW as it is out of print and not easily found. Cobb County library has one copy but it is checked out.

Doneine, our page looks even more beautiful now. Thanks for the great descriptions of our meeting today, for those who were not there. We missed you all! And I'd just add a thanks to all who brought snacks, especially Lisa who brought the yummy soup. A crockpot for our meeting is a great idea. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's club meeting. This is my first book club and I love it and, especially being new to the church, am so excited about the different friendships being formed.
As for next month,I'll be glad to make a crock pot of something... maybe chili? Just let me know if that's a good choice for all.
Looking forward to this month's book. I've actually picked it up a few times at the book store thinking I might like it... now, I'll pick it up and purchase it!

I think you should get the month off from bringing something but we'll take a raincheck on that chili. We don't want one person to be bringing everytime. Why don't you wait until the following month... or if no one signs up, we might take you up on it for March. Thanks for your giving spirit and YES, these ladies are cream of the crop of GCC. I found that out my first couple months at Grace.
